Cloud Earns Endorsement from Prominent Community Activist

Rev. Wayne Perryman Looks to Cloud to Clean Up Corruption in Congress

TACOMA, WA - The Cloud for U.S. Congress Campaign today announced Doug Cloud has earned the endorsement of Rev. Wayne Perryman in the race for Washington's 6th Congressional seat.

"I'm honored to lend my support to Mr. Cloud in this race," commented Rev. Perryman.  "Congress needs a down to earth, common-sense representative.  I am convinced that Doug Cloud is that type of a person."

Rev. Perryman has been a community activist in the greater Seattle area for over 15 years.  He serves as Chairman of the Occupational Steering Committee for Seattle Public Schools and acts as a member of the advisory board for Seattle Community College.  He has founded several youth focused community outreach programs such as Operation Destitution, Inner city Vision Ministries, Role Models Unlimited and Youth Challenge.

"I'm so pleased to have the endorsement from Rev. Perryman," said Cloud.  "He understands what's at stake in this election.  We simply have to clean up the corruption that is crippling our Congress, pull back the reins on reckless spending and start exercising fiscal responsibility.  We must focus on rebuilding our small businesses and putting people back to work so we can rejuvenate our economy here in the 6th District of Washington and throughout the country."
