Endorsements Flood In for Cloud

Momentum Rapidly Grows for Cloud as Focus on Jobs Intensifies

TACOMA, WA - The Cloud for U.S. Congress Campaign today announced Congressional Candidate Doug Cloud has earned the endorsement of several prominent groups and individuals in the race for Washington's 6th Congressional District seat.

"I'm honored to have these endorsements," said Cloud.  "Our campaign is seeing more support now than ever before because our message of fiscal responsibility, taking back our constitutional freedoms, and cleaning up corruption in Congress resonates with voters.  We must make a change if we're going to thrive."

Cloud is endorsed by the following groups and individuals:

  • Mainstream Republicans of WA
  • Republican Liberty Caucus
  • The Tea Party Coalition
  • The News Tribune
  • Sean Salazar, US Senate Candidate
  • Gretchen Wilbert, Former Mayor, Gig Harbor
  • Walt Schubert, Former Mayor, Sequim
  • Dan Griffey,  WA State Legislative Candidate
  • Jon Higley, WA State Legislative Candidate
  • Ken Nichols, WA State Legislative Candidate
  • Eric Kuester, Former Secretary, Alaskan Arts Council
  • Ron Suslick, Former Dir., WA Retail Assoc.
  • Mike "Mish" Shedlock, Financial Analyst
  • Dr. Michael Allen, NY Times Bestselling Author

"These groups and leaders have chosen to support me because they know I am dedicated to cleaning up Congress and rejuvenating our local economy, based on our Constitution and free market principles," said Cloud.  "We can't keep growing Government, and artificially growing jobs with pork barrel projects. We need sustainable jobs in a free market.  We need to keep more of the tax payers' money in their pockets, and of the money the government does collect, we will see to it that it is managed responsibly, unlike these years past."

These are a portion of the growing number of endorsements Doug Cloud has earned.  More endorsements are expected in the coming weeks.
